NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY 2021 BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Durham, Greene County, New York at the Town Hall, East Durham, New York, to be held on November 5, 2020 at 7:30 o’clock PM in the evening for the purpose of conducting a public hearing reviewing the Preliminary 2021 Budget.  The meeting will be done via telephonic conference call.  Members of the public may attend by dialing (503) 300-6830 and entering access code 114503. The meeting is being conducted pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 202.1 to combat the spread of the COVID virus.  At such time all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.

A copy of this budget will be on file at the Town Clerk’s office for public inspection during normal office hours.

Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law of the State of New York, the following salaries are proposed:

            Supervisor                                          $13,442.00

            Councilpersons (each)                       $  5,133.75

            Highway Superintendent       $ 65,870.00

            Town Clerk                                        $ 35,500.00
